The 4x4 Holiday Fair: A Leading Event for 20 Years
Back in 2005, the Land Rover Club Holland still held regular club nights.
In search of exciting themes for club members, volunteers Hans Lebbe and Norbert Duijvelshoff set out to find something members would be passionate about.
At the time, the club magazine featured many advertisers offering Land Rover products like winches, tires, protective gear, additional lighting, roof racks, etc. There were also quite a few companies offering trips to thrilling destinations such as Morocco, Tunisia, Scotland, and Iceland.
Then, on a Monday evening in February 2005, it happened: the very first Holiday Fair took place—in complete darkness and with a light snowfall. Fire pits glowed outside, and inside it was buzzing with activity.
Visitors came from far and wide, and the interest was overwhelming. A tradition was born.
20 years later, that tradition is still going strong—with just as much passion.
The 4×4 Holiday Fair remains free to attend and continues to welcome providers of organized travel, 4×4 campers, parts, equipment, camper interior installations, and everything related to holidaying with a 4×4.
The dedication to creating an outstanding fair every year remains the driving force behind the event. The friendly and laid-back atmosphere at the venue is widely praised. And when you feel at home somewhere, you want to come back. So we’ll see you again this year!
